Research Group Focus
The EpiGastro Disease Research Group at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) was established in 2019 by Dr. Sudipto Das to create an impact on the treatment and prognosis of gastrointestinal diseases.
It primarily aims at applying multi-omic approaches including profiling coupled with machine learning (ML) approaches to identify novel predictive/prognostic biomarkers and/or therapeutic targets across various gastrointestinal diseases including colorectal cancer (CRC) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
